Randy & Angie Reid

Senior Pastor

Pastor Randy and Ms. Angie came to lead the First Assembly congregation in August of 1995. They were both born and raised in Mobile, Alabama.

 Pastor Randy was raised the son of an Assemblies of God pastor while Ms. Angie was raised in the Southern Baptist church. Together they are a pastoral team who love God, love people, and are passionate about winning the lost and strengthening believers in their walk with God. He also serves the Alabama Assemblies of God Ministry Network as presbyter for the Montgomery Section.

 The Reid’s have two children, Josh and Anna. Josh is a graduate of the University of Alabama, and is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Samford  University in Birmingham. Anna is a student at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.

Chris Walton

Administrative Pastor

Pastor Chris joined the First Assembly ministerial staff in July 2023.

As Administrative Pastor, Pastor Chris is responsible for the behind the scenes nuts and bolts implementation of ministry. He oversees our followup ministry and works closely  with the various ministry leaders to  ensure they have what they need for effective ministry.

As a chief member of the worship team, Pastor Chris works directly with our worship leader in service planning as well as coaching the male vocalists of the praise team.

Prior to coming on staff at First Assembly Pastor Chris was a professional lead singer for several popular Southern Gospel  groups for  more than 20 years. .

Pastor Chris is married to his wife, Christy, who is a pharmacist. They have two children, Khloe and Cooper.


d'leigh Bishop

worship leader 

D'Leigh and her family  have been a part of First Assembly since 2018.

Shortly after coming to  First Assembly D'Leigh joined the praise team as a vocalist and  pianist. While going through ministry transitions, the praise team looked to D'Leigh for leadership. D'Leigh provided such skillful leadership that after several months of searching it became clear that our new worship leader should be the one who was  already leading the team.  Her ministry is marked by a desire for excellence , a passion for God and  a heart to lead worshippers into the presence of God.

D'Leigh also serves as an English teacher at Clanton Middle School and directs the school's choir.
 
D'Leigh is married to Arthur,  who  serves on the church board. They have four children, two grown, Ethan and Beth (Braydon),  and two still at home, Landon and Alyana.

Trever Price

Youth Pastor

Pastor Trever and Mrs. Kaylee have served as the Youth Pastors of Fuel Student Minsitries since August 2020. They have worked very effectively in both the youth and children’s ministry. As a teenager, Pastor Trever was a member of the Fuel Student Ministry, and today serves as its youth pastor.

Pastor Trever is a talented musician, therefore, it is not unusual to see him playing an instrument on stage as part of the worship team. In addition to serving in Fuel Youth along side her husband, Mrs. Kaylee also serves as First Assembly's much beloved Nursery Coordinator. The Prices have three children twin boys, Kirkland and Kenton and baby sister Karter.

Pastor Trever and Ms. Kaylee both desire to encourage, disciple, and strengthen our students in their walk with the Lord. Their goal is to build relationships that last a lifetime!

Jack Simmons 

Children's Pastor

Pastor Jack joined First Assembly's ministerial staff in March of 2024. Although the youngest of our ministerial staff Pastor Jack brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to First Assembly's Kids of Praise children's ministry. He served as children's pastor for a number of years at his home church in Greenville, AL. He also served two years as a staff member for NXT GEN children's ministry under the leadership of Pastors Tim and Marcia Jones, national children's missionaries. 

Julie Brown

Secretary/ receptionist 

Mrs. Julie, along with  her husband, Steve, and their 4 children, have been a part of the First Assembly family since 2008, and she has served on the administrative staff since 2009.  Her duties are to facilitate the flow of information and communication between the church body and ministerial staff. Julie ensures that the daily functions of the church office run efficiently. She  manages church resources needed for the ministries of the church to be effective and beneficial.

Karen Graves

Accounting

Mrs. Karen, and her husband, Steve, have been a part of the First Assembly family since 2009.  Karen's ministerial gifting has been utilized in numerous ministries within our church including the praise team, women's ministries, and nursery just to name a few.  In 2020, Karen was recruited to serve as First Assembly's treasurer, and head of our accounting ministry. Karen views her duties as a ministry rather than a job. She is  a servant-leader in every way, and serves the First Assembly family with a spirit of excellence, and a heart to bring honor to Christ.
