Kids of Praise (K.O.P.) is First Assembly's children's ministry. K.O.P. provides ministry to children ages 3 to 11 years during both Sunday Morning services. K.O.P strives to build a firm foundation to our children to grow and learn, while also teaching them how to have fun in Jesus. There are multiple events offered throughout the year for our kids which included attending summer camp, hosting kind crusade, and various field trips to fun places such as laser tag, the petting zoo, and Air-walk. There are also kid-specific ministries for our children to get involved in such as BGMC and Junior Bible Quiz.
There are 3 classes offered in K.O.P that range according to age group:
1. Wee Church is for children ages 3-5 meet upstairs, where they remain the entire service while they enjoy Bible lessons, game, snacks, and crafts.
2. Children's Church is our primate K.O.P service for students that range from ages 6-11, who meet in the Children's Church Chapel where they play games, praise and worship, and listen to their own age appropriate bible Lesson.
3. Next Level is our junior high ministry that meets during the 10:30 am service to create a small group that includes worship and Bible lessons geared towards 7th and 8th grade students discussing relevant topics middle schoolers may face.
