First Assembly's Sunday School program is designed to teach the scriptures and make the Bible relevant to our lives. Our goal is to train Believers to live practical Christian lives in today's contemporary world. Our Sunday School begins 9:30am Sunday mornings and provides classes for every member of the family from nursery to senior adults.
Sunday Morning Worship
Sunday Morning Worship begins at 10:30am with Praise and Worship music led by the First Assembly Praise team and Choir. Our worship ranges from high-energy worship along with reflective periods of worshipful praise. Following worship our Pastor brings a message from God's Worship that is geared to challange, inspire, and motivate you to achieve all of God's best for your life.
Nursery and Children's Church is provided for your children ages infants to 11 years.
Sunday Evening Service
Sunday Evening services are very popular at First Assembly with nearly 75% of Sunday Morning attendees returning for the night services. Sunday night services begin at 6:00pm and provides a full range of ministry including complete Praise and Worship time, special singing followed by the ministry in the Word by our Pastor. Although attire is more casual our Sunday evening services are considered a vital part of the ministry of our Church.
Nursery as well as Children's Church service is for your Children ages infants to 11 years.
Kids of Praise
Kids of Praise (K.O.P.) is the name of First Assembly's Children's ministry. K.O.P. Children's Church provides ministry to Children ages 3 to 11 years during both Sunday Morning and Sunday Evening services.
On Sunday Mornings Children meet in the Children's Church chapel at 10:30am.
Sunday night, children ages 6 to 11, meet in the Main Sanctuary with the rest of the congregation for praise and worship. After Praise and Worship the children are dismissed to the Children's Church Chapel where they recieve their own age based Bible lesson. Children, ages 3 to 5 meet in the Children's Church chapel at the beginning of service time, 6:00pm, for "Wee Church" where they remain the entire service while they enjoy Bible lessons and games.
Wednesday Night Ministry
All Wednesday Night Ministries begin at 6:30pm
Pastor's Bible Class
Pastor's Bible Class meets on Wednesday night's in the Children's Church Chapel. The format of this class is very casual as attendees sit at round tables, sip coffee, nibble on snacks as Pastor teaches an expository style Bible lesson. Class interaction and open discussion is encouraged as the pastor engages the entie class in the lessons. The length of the class is one hour. Although the attendees of this class range in age from young to young at heart the class is primarily geared toward adults ages 45(ish) and up.
The Adult class meets next door to the church at the "Dennis House". The format of the class is a casual "life application" class. In this class Bible topics are discussed with the goal learning how to apply them to our everyday life. The format is an "open forum, light-hearted discussion" class which dealves into deep spiritual truths. Although this class is open to any age group it is primarily geared to adults ages 30 to 45 years.
FUEL Student Ministries
is for youth ages 12 through graduation from high school. It is a high impact, high energy ministry that meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 where they experience God through worship and the Word as Pastor Aaron teaches about being Christ's FUEL for changing the world. This group stays active throughout the year with trips, fellowships and fundraisers as well as just having some good, Christian fun.
Royal Rangers is a ministry to young boys. Meeting on Wednesday's at 6:30pm, the First Assembly chartered Royal Ranger program teaches young boys not only the Word of God but practical everyday skills such as wood working, knot tieing and wilderness skills. The Royal Rangers take regular camping trips and other field trips such as an occasional visit to the White Water water park. Royal Ranger boys win merit badges as they complete various levels of their biblical and practical skills courses.
As a ministry to young girls, First Assembly's chartered Missionette group is a very active ministry that teaches young girls Biblical, as well as, Social skills. Missionettes take regular field trips such as shopping trips to the mall, ice cream runs to the Peach Park, and various other outings. The Missionettes earn merit badges as they complete various levels of their biblical and practical skills courses
