Community Blessings

In our continued effort to bless our community, First Assembly is offering two additional ways to make a difference in the life of those around us:

  1. Retired Veterans: We will deliver gift baskets to the retired veterans facility today. If you would like help deliver, meet Julie Brown in the side sanctuary room after the AM service.
  2. Humane Society Dog Food Drive: Everyone is asked to bring dog food on Sunday, November 25th to benefit the Chilton County Humane Society.


Thanksgiving Dinner

Our annual Thanksgiving Dinner will be Wednesday, November 14 at 6:30pm. Sign up sheets for menu items are posted in the hallway across from Children’s Church. Kitchen groups B & C are in charge of set up and clean up. If you would like to be added to a kitchen group, see Delonna Hutto.



Baptismal Service

Sunday, November 18 during the PM service, we will be having our baptismal and communion service. If you would like more information on being baptized on this night, please see Mrs. Angie or Delonna Hutto.


Community Prayer

Thursday, November 15 at 6:30pm, everyone is invited to attend a time of prayer here at First Assembly. For more information, please contact the church office.


 Mid-Week Schedule Changes

Due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the midweek service will be changed from Wednesday, November 21 to Tuesday, November 20 at 6:30pm. This service change is being made to allow you time to enjoy with your family during this holiday.


Wednesday Night Service

Join your church family every Wednesday night at 6:30pm for mid week service.  Classes are available for all ages, from nursery age to the Senior Saints. If you would like more information on the classes that are available for your family, contact the church office.


Pre Service Prayer

Everyone is invited to the Pre Service prayer that takes place in the Sanctuary every Sunday morning at 8:45am. The prayer last for 15 minutes. Come early, pray, and help set the atmosphere for the day’s service.
