Welcome to FUEL Student Ministries
If you are looking for a place to FUEL your passion and set you on fire for Christ, this is it. We are a group of young people who love God, love each other, and LOVE having fun in Christ. We meet every Wednesday night at 6:30pm to fellowship together and to worship God through our praise with our live worship team. Every Wednesday is different so you never know what is going to happen. One week we will concentrate on missions with one of our "Speed-the-Light" theme nights, another week we will have small group discussions, and still another week we may meet outside for one of our "+1" block parties where we encourage our members to bring at least 1 person with them to Fuel that Night. One thing that never changes is that God meets with us every week and we hear the Word of God spoken into our lives through a powerful message from Pastor Aaron or one of our youth leaders.
We are taught in Fuel Student Ministries that his last command should be our first priority. Just before Jesus left this earth, He told His disciples in Matthew 28:19, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations....". Although we may be teenagers, we know that it is still our responsibility to "GO" and if we cannot go ourselves, to send someone who can. That is why we participate in "Speed-the-Light" (STL). STL provides everything from vehicles and sound systems to generators and dug out canoes to missionaries all across the globe. Since STL's creation in 1944, the youth of the United States have given over $220 million to missionaries in over 180 countries. To learn about this incredible ministry go to www.stl.ag.org and help us to "Speed-the-Light" to a lost and dying world.
In FUEL Student Ministries there are multiple opportunities for teens to find their "niche" in the ministry. We give students a chance to be a part of a live worship team where students can use their vocal and instrumental talents every Wednesday night to lead others into god's presence through worship, as well as a drama team that does ministry throughout the year in church/youth services inside the church and out. There are plenty of chances for students to impact other young people in the community with outreaches at the local high schools, through block parties and much more. We also offer students the chance to participate in the Annual "Fine Arts Festival" where they compete against other students from churches around the country in a host of categories for scholarship money while honing their skills and talents for Christ. For more information about FINE ARTS, please go to www.faf.ag.org.
